Pendahuluan

Simple Present Tense adalah salah satu tenses dasar dalam bahasa Inggris yang paling sering digunakan. Tense ini berfungsi untuk menyatakan:

• Kebiasaan atau rutinitas (habit), contoh: I go to school every day.
• Fakta umum (general truth), contoh: The sun rises in the east.
• Jadwal atau peristiwa teratur, contoh: The train arrives at 7 a.m.

Rumus Simple Present Tense

1. Kalimat Positif (+)
   • (I/You/We/They) + Verb 1
   • (He/She/It) + Verb 1 + -s/-es
   👉 She plays piano every night.
2. Kalimat Negatif (–)
   • (I/You/We/They) + do not (don’t) + Verb 1
   • (He/She/It) + does not (doesn’t) + Verb 1
   👉 He doesn’t eat meat.
3. Kalimat Tanya (?)
   • Do/Does + Subject + Verb 1 … ?
   👉 Does she like English?
